Is it safe for everyone to use chanterelle?

The mushroom is generally safe, but before using it for functional purposes, it is worth consulting a doctor, especially in case of chronic diseases. It is important to adhere to the recommended doses. Collecting mushrooms in contaminated areas can be dangerous due to radionuclides

Why aren't chanterelles wormy?

Chanterelles contain substances that repel mushroom flies, so they are often free of worms.

How to take chanterelles in supplements

It is usually recommended to take 1-2 capsules (0.3-0.5 g each) 1-2 times a day 20-30 minutes before meals, washed down with warm water. For an average weight person, the course of treatment lasts from 4 weeks to 3 months, depending on the goal - prevention or health maintenance. If necessary, the dose can be increased to 3 capsules per day, but it is worth consulting with a doctor. It is not recommended to take chanterelles for pregnant women, lactating women, children under 5 years of age and people with individual intolerance. It is also worth avoiding taking them together with coffee and observing breaks between courses

What are the health benefits of chanterelles?

Chanterelle mushrooms contain vitamins (A, D, group B), minerals (zinc, copper, iron) and antioxidants that support immunity and protect cells from oxidative stress. The use of chanterelles improves the functioning of the gastrointestinal tract, liver and overall energy of the body. They help eliminate toxins and heavy metal salts, increase resistance to viral infections and maintain bone health due to the content of vitamin D. 

Who is not recommended to take chanterelle?

Chanterelle is not recommended for pregnant and lactating women due to lack of safety studies. Children under 3-7 years of age should refrain from taking it due to possible digestive difficulties and hypersensitivity. People with chronic gastrointestinal diseases, especially in the acute stage, should take it with caution or under the supervision of a doctor. Also, individual intolerance or allergic reactions to mushrooms are contraindications. Due to the difficulty of digestion, chanterelles may not be recommended for older people with weakened digestion.

What is the recommended dosage of chanterelles?

The recommended dose of chanterelle in capsule form is usually 1 capsule (0.5 g) twice a day - in the morning and evening, 20-30 minutes before meals. For people with a larger body weight, the dose can be increased to 3 capsules per day - additionally at lunch. The course of administration lasts from one to three months, after which it is advisable to take a break. For powder, the recommended dose is 1-2 g per day, dissolved in water or juice. Before starting use, it is recommended to consult a doctor, especially if you have chronic diseases.

Are there special forms of chanterelles for children?

There are currently no special forms of chanterelle (Chanterelle versicolor) in the form of supplements designed specifically for children. Due to the peculiarities of digestion and potential allergies, chanterelles in the form of supplements are usually not recommended for children under 3-7 years of age. For older children and adults, standard forms are used: capsules, powders or extracts, but the dosage should be reduced and in accordance with the doctor's recommendations.
