Sanghuang - Phellinus linteus - is a mushroom with a millennia-long history of use in the traditional medicine of Korea, China and Japan. In Japan it is known as Meshimakobu or Meshima. In Korean medical tradition it holds a special place among mushrooms used for immune system support - and today remains one of the most researched mushrooms in the world. Extract differs from mushroom powder in its production method and absorption profile. Through the extraction process, active compounds transition into a concentrated water-soluble form - without the chitin and heavy fiber of the fruiting body. This ensures higher bioavailability of active substances and requires no extended brewing.
Nutraceutical Value
Sanghuang is studied primarily as an immunomodulator - in the context of regulating immune cell activity and supporting the body during periods of increased stress. Antioxidant and anti-inflammatory activity are also studied, along with influence on liver function.
How to Use
The powder extract dissolves easily in water or any beverage. Add 1 teaspoon (2g) to warm water, tea or smoothie and stir. Unlike mushroom powder, the extract requires no extended brewing - active compounds have already transitioned into water-soluble form during production. Take 1-3 times per day. Dosage is selected individually - solo or in combination with other mushrooms. Individual dosage should be agreed with a specialist.
Composition: Sanghuang fruiting body extract (Phellinus linteus) 20% beta-glucans.
